Over 40 years of experience providing ideas and inspiration across a wide spectrum of diverse architectural styles and eclectic tastes. Large or small projects are treated with the same integrity and dedication to quality results and client satisfaction. US offices have been located in Beverly Hills, Dallas, New Orleans, and New York, and currently in Todos Santos, Baja California Sur, Mexico.
Aesthetic Sensibility and Influences: Wendy is best known for her adventurous use of color and textures, her eclectic melding of cultures, a playful mix of traditional and contemporary details, with a bit of glamour and whimsy thrown in. Someone who loves challenges, she has earned her clients’ respect as a problem solver who also has a practical eye for scale and function.
Influenced by her extensive travels, and some of the places she has called home, Wendy’s personal inspirations come from the mid-century kitch of Miami Beach and Palm Springs, the Art Deco period of Paris and Old Hollywood, the Zen-like simplicity of Asia, modern Italian lines and forms, to the bold use of colors and whackiness of “swinging” London, and the exotic rich jewel tones and textures of India and Nepal.
